2011 Western Illinois Amateur Golf Championship
2011 was the first year for the Western Illinois Golf Championship. It was held at the Harry Mussatto Golf Course on July 23rd and 24th. We were able to give away $1050 in prizes to participants in 2011.
It is not limited to only those players in Western Illinois; Everyone of every skill level is invited to participate.
Goal: The goal of this championship is to find the best amateur golfer in Western Illinois. We will find a champion in each division: Men, Women, Senior Men (55+) and Senior Women (55+).
Rules: The tournament will be a two day event with the winner having the best score after two rounds. All play will follow USGA rules. Tee times will be assigned for Saturday July 23rd and will be set up for July 24th based on first day scores. Carts are available to use during the tournament. Cart rental fee does apply.
Prizes: There will be prizes for each division. This tournament could be flighted based on number of entrants. There is guaranteed $1000 total for the tournament.
